Current Status: Her color is awesome. She has the softest coat and loves to be snuggled. She is very easy going. Not bothered by other horses. Not bossy at all. We had her hooves examined and the x-rays showed that she has certainly foundered, but it is not too late for her. There has been some movement in her bone, but the hoof wall is still strong. So the vet gave her a good prognosis and said as long as her owner stays on top of it, she should live a great life. We have worked hard for her and she is showing so much life now.
Ideal Forever Home: Cricket needs a special owner who wants to provide her the special care she needs. Cricket will need to be on a controlled diet (dry lot preferred) and monitored for her sugar intake. She has custom boots made just for her that will go with her to help her stay in good shape.
Intake Report: Cricket is a surrender from an owner that noticed she kept laying down a lot. She has suffered from both laminitis and has foundered. She moves very slow and lays down a lot.
