Intro to the 5 Elements of Equine

September 14, 2024   9am-2pm

Learn simple, yet effective techniques to help your horses thrive with our 4 hour hands-on clinic taught at your facility by Chelse Freeman, CEMT of Equine Unbound.

The 5 Elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water come from a branch of Classical East Asian Medicine (CEAM) called 5 Element Theory. By learning to recognize these patterns of seemingly unrelated symptoms, you can discover your horse’s own unique elemental archetype or constitution. With that knowledge comes a deeper understanding of the physical symptoms they may be more prone to, the environments, lifestyles and careers they might thrive in, the things that stress them out, and so much more!

_____________

3 Day Horse Fundamentals Clinic

October 4 -6, 2024    9am – 5pm

This clinic (Based on The Method by Clinton Anderson) is designed to help you improve the partnership you share with your horse by teaching you how to communicate with him and be the confident leader that he needs and wants you to be.

Connie Harris is a Certified Clinician with Clinton Anderson and will cover topics such as:

  • What motivates your horse.
  • How your actions and reactions impact how your horse behaves, learns and
    retains what he learns.
  • How to wake up a lazy horse and relax a reactive one. How your emotions can impact your training.
You and your horse will learn how to execute all of the Fundamentals groundwork exercises, and most, if not all, of the riding exercises as well.
This clinic is limited to 6 participants to ensure that everyone receives the hands-on assistance they need in order to make progress and succeed. Must be 18 years of age. No colts.
