Current Status: Vet gave him a good report. He was on doxy to clear up any infection and we gave him 2 rounds of dewormer. Thankfully, he was not real sick. Just the typical stuff we see when pulling from the KP. He has really started to show some personality. We have him scheduled for gelding in April 2025. After healing from that procedure, he will be ready for you.
Ideal Forever Home: Chevy is perfect for that person who wants to imprint a young colt. He is fine with other horses, so he can join your herd. He will make a great ranch or trail horse. He is eager to learn.
Intake Report: Pulled from the KP in Arkansas, Chevy has arrived with a nasty nose and you can tell from his picture a fever. He is moving slow and not eating well. We have started him on his meds with vet care and know he will be fine with our partners help and support. He took his halter fine and was able to lead. But hard to know if this is “real” of if he just is so sick he has no fight in him.
