Surrender A Horse

We know it’s really tough to surrender a horse, but Layla Rose Ranch is a great place where your horse will get lots of love from our Ambassadors while we work to find them a new Forever Home.

Once a horse is surrendered to us, it legally becomes Layla Rose Ranch property. Because we have to respect everyone’s privacy, we won’t be able to share the names or contact information of the people who adopt your horse.

You can read our Surrender form here.

Surrender FAQs

Will you take any horse? Actually, we are selective. We are a rescue and not a sanctuary. And as a rescue, we have limited space. So we will only take in a surrender if we feel we can serve it well by finding it the right Forever Home.

How much does it cost? Nothing. We do not charge for someone to surrender their horse.

Will I get to know where my horse goes when it leaves? Due to privacy restrictions, we will not be able to let you know the names of the adopters or their contact information.

What do I need to do? There is paperwork, of course. You will sign the legal ownership of the horse over to Layla Rose Ranch allowing us to take care of it properly and find it a permanent Forever Home. You can read our Surrender Agreement form here.
