“We tried it on a variety or breeds, ages, mares and geldings and all loved it”
First, this product is a winner. It is not your typical horse massager – it is so much more. We have tested and reviewed multiple devices and this one not only helped provide comfort for our mare that has severe tension in her muscles, but provided much needed relaxation for a formerly abused mare that still shows signs of anxiety.
We received the product and we pleased that it worked off of a rechargeable battery system. While ti came with multiple batteries, we were able to do 2 horses with one fully charged battery. A “session” for each horse is about 20 minutes. The benefits of a session include:
Muscle Relaxation – Improved Circulation – Reduce Toxins – Stimulates Lymphatic Discharge – Improves Joint Mobility -Increase Oxygen Supply to Muscles
While one of the product claims is that it reduces recover time between workouts, since we are a rescue, we didn’t test this.
The unit was easy to attach and use and was very light. It may look heavy in the pictures but it is definitely much lighter than a saddle.
Since it does vibrate, it too some time to become comfortable enough to let us put it on its back. We used simple desynthesizing techniques for this. All horses allowed us to use it though. The only difficulty was with the straps. Some of the horses were not comfortable with this. Lily ones that are not used to any type of breast collar. So, just a note not a negative.

Equissage Pulse delivers powerful cycloidal (three-way) vibrations to the whole body (see image below), and is scientifically proven to improve local blood circulation, lymphatic drainage, relaxation and joint mobility and can help in rehabilitation from a multitude of injuries or persistent conditions.
His Face Says it All
One of the signs we always look for in my horses is that tell-tale licking and chewing when they are totally relaxed and enjoying the moment. Often times, it takes quite awhile with a handheld massager to get to this point. We tried the device on several horses from varying breeds and all gave me visible signs of the massager working.
